I just found out that I am pregnant on St. Patty's Day. According to my LMP, I am 5 weeks. However, I have had strong pregnancy symptoms for 2 months now. I had what I believe was my "period" on Valentine's Day, and unusually it lasted for almost 2 weeks. I have heard many women do this when pregnant with twins. Anyone know? Twins do run in my family.

well, i don't think that having symptoms before you're actually pregnant would indicate twins. That just doesn't make sense. HOwever, HUGE increases in hcg levels can indicate twins, as can two sacs on an early ultrasound. You may experience more severe symptoms, but i know women who have had twins that had no pregnancy symptoms at all Good luck!
